Theatre Of Life follows the story of internationally renowned Italian chef, Massimo Bottura, and how he rescued food from the 2015 Expo Milan and turned it into the full time soup kitchen, Refettorio Ambrosiano.

The documentary tracks the establishment of the kitchen, the stories of its chefs, and of the refugees and homeless people that it feeds. Initially a temporary project, the kitchen has now turned into a full time affair for Bottura and his team of well-known chefs, all of whom donate their time to produce world class food for those who need it most, made from ingredients which would have otherwise been wasted.

Theatre Of Life promises to be a stirring film, raising ethical and thought-provoking questions about food wastage, homelessness, and how best to feed the planet.

Theatre Of Life will be released in selected Australian cinemas from November 13. You can reserve your tickets and demand to have it screened here. For more on the film, head to the official website.
