There are many ways to pick a flick to watch. Go by genre, pick by cast, or choose via director…the options are numerous and varied. Another fresh approach is to order your viewing by location, namely by where a movie or TV show takes place. The folks behind the new website World Cinema Atlas have now made this option especially easy for you. With the site’s centrepiece world globe slowly spinning, you just drop your cursor on a sparkling light on any country, and it will come up with a film that unfolds there. Wanna watch something set in Bloomington? Hey, it’s the 1979 classic Breaking Away! What about La Paz? Quantum Of Solace! Lisbon? Poor Things! Visalia? Ken Park! Sydney? Finding Nemo! But World Cinema Atlas doesn’t just stop at Planet Earth. You can also find out which films were set on Mars, Venus, The International Space Station and more!
