Yesterday was If Beale Street Could Talk, and today it’s the John C. Reilly, Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, Riz Ahmed starrer, The Sisters Brothers. Premiering at Venice, the first trailer dropped a couple of weeks back, and in case you weren’t convinced, below is the newbie.
And in case you missed it, back in the day, we thought that the source novel by Patrick DeWitt would make a great movie, and seemingly, John C. Reilly listened when he optioned the book, but then ended up casting himself in a different role than the one we suggested. What are you gonna do?
