Lilydale Films is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Season 6 of the critically acclaimed online series, “Flunk.” This heart-warming and relatable YA drama, filmed on location in the picturesque Yarra Ranges Shire and City of Maroondah, promises to captivate audiences once again with its honest portrayal of teenage life in Australia.
Season 6 sees the return of writer and director Ric Forster at the helm, alongside producer Melanie Rowland. This dynamic duo continues to push boundaries with a fresh and innovative approach to storytelling and production.
“Flunk Season 6 is a story about truth, justice and the tenuous relationships between teens and their parents,” says director Ric Forster. “We’re excited to introduce a talented new ensemble cast who bring a unique energy to the series, while still offering a familiar tone that fans have come to love.”
The new season features a captivating cast, including Jasmine Hope, Tyneak Hellings, Keira O’Connor, Harriette St Ledger, Brad McCarthy, Kai Polster-Ewing, Jaz Balmer, Gabriella Wheeler, Genevieve Maguire, Brett Whittingham, and James Huang. Their combined talent promises an unforgettable season of television.

Flunk is a Lilydale Films Production, with principal production funding from Screen Australia in association with VicScreen. The season launches on 30 November 2024 and will be available to
