The actors are in place and the cameras are now rolling in Queensland on Homeward, the new local thriller from co-writer and director Blair Moore (whose tough crime flick Kane recently debuted on home entertainment platforms) and co-writer and producer Dru Brown (who helmed 2014’s inventive thriller The Suicide Theory).

Homeward follows an ordinary bloke (Jake Ryan, from Kane and Underbelly), who embarks on the nineteen-hour trek home to his farm, completely unaware that he is being pursued by two unhinged criminals, played by Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek, These Final Hours) and Steve Mouzakis (The Stranger, left). Once Ryan’s lone farmer discovers the duo’s motive, a simple drive home turns into a brutal fight for survival. The film also features Robert Rabiah.

“We’re excited to put together such a dynamic cast to couple with a terrific crew… we’re expecting fireworks,” says Dru Brown.

Stay tuned for more on Homeward.
