Harbinger of the Apocalypse, Donald Trump, has a new heckler in the from of living treasure Mark Hamill, who has taken to Tweeting soundbites of himself reading Trump quotes in the voice of Batman villain, The Joker. It’s as glorious as you imagine.

The whole thing started when Patton Oswalt’s brother, noted hater of Jerry Maguire, Matt Oswalt, put a thought out into the universe: “BILLION DOLLAR IDEA: an App that you can feed every Trump tweet into that plays it back in Joker voice. You’re welcome.” Like a version of The Secret that works, the universe responded – or at least, Mark Hamill, did, noting that “Nobody writes better super-villain dialogue than !” And here we are.

Hamill, of course, has voiced The Joker off and on for almost 25 years, beginning in 1992 with the excellent Batman: The Animated Series and most recently lending his lungs to the controversial animated adaptation of The Killing Joke. This, however, may be his finest moment as the Clown Prince of Crime. Hamill has promised more of these in the future. We can’t wait.
