Actor, politician and all-round cultural icon, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is giving his first speech in Sydney in five years, with the Austrian Oak set to headline Glenn Twiddle’s Total Success Summit on March 21 and 22.

The big guy will lead a slate of some 20 educational and motivational speakers, extemporising on his five tips for success, which he summarises as, “…have a vision, think big, don;t listen to the naysayers, work your ass off and give back!”

The cynical side of us normally deeply side-eyes this kind of Tony Robbins-esque motivational malarkey, but even a cursory knowledge of Schwarzenegger’s life, career and successes indicates he might know a thing or two about a thing or two, going from a monosyllabic beefcake who was terribly dubbed in Hercules in New York to the California Governor’s mansion, taking in Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator and Twins along the way.

Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, January 11, via totalsuccess.com.au.
