Back in February, we reported on how Sydney filmmaker Daniel DiMarco had relocated to Canada in order to make his feature debut, Juggernaut. Now comes the news that the completed film will make its bow at the Shanghai International Film Festival this month. DiMarco is also attending the festival.
Starring Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2, Baywatch, Horse Soldiers, Death Wish), Amanda Crew (Silicon Valley, Poor Boy, Race), David Cubitt (Medium, Van Helsing), Ty Olsson (War for the Planet of the Apes, The 100), Stephen McHattie (300, Immortals, A History of Violence) and Peter McRobbie (The Visit, Lincoln, Bridge of Spies), the film concerns Saxon Gamble (Kesy) who returns home following his mother’s suicide convinced that his elder brother (Cubit) is somehow responsible for her death and embarks on a mission of revenge.
Written and Directed by DiMarco, Juggernaut was produced by Matthew Cervi (The Colony, Cruel & Unusual) through Mad Samurai Productions, with Ines Eisses co-producing. Ben Silverman (Goon), Dave Valleau (Push, Lavender), Rich Mento and Jason Upton served as Executive Producers.
