Zach Cregger goes boffo with the Resident Evil franchise reboot, as does the live Hoyts exclusive The Songs of John Farnham concert, even though Farnsey couldn’t be there! Speaking of nostalgia, not a great opening for the latest Shaun the Sheep for Studiocanal – though the school holidays haven’t technically started yet for the majority of Australia, and the young at heart turned up for The Transformers: The Movie reissue, but the big winner is on again/off again distributor Pinnacle, who picked up Warner Bros’ dregs with Coyote vs. Acme and looks to emulate that property’s North American success down under. Th-th-th-that’s all, folks!
