For one day only, Chris Sun’s monster pig movie Boar hits cinemas across Australia. Thanks to Monster Pictures and Universal Home Entertainment, horror fans can see the big pig on the big screen on Sunday, June 17, at 9pm.
Starring international genre legend Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), John Jarratt, Nathan Jones, Ernie Dingo, Chris Haywood, Simone Buchanan, Melissa Tkautz, Roger Ward and more, Boar is a monster movie in the tradition of Ozploitation classic Razorback.
As the official synopsis tells us, “In the harsh yet beautiful Australian outback lives a beast, an animal of staggering size, with a ruthless, driving need for blood and destruction. It cares for none, defends its territory with brutal force, and kills with a raw, animalistic savagery unlike any have seen before. Believed nothing more than a myth, a legend brought to life by a drunken local, the beast ventures closer to civilization, closer to life, and ultimately, closer to death. It’s brutal, it’s bloodthirsty, it’s Boar.”
