You can tell that the school holidays are nearly upon us when studios start unleashing product that they think can open big and then keep the momentum going during the school holidays. Today sees the general release of Power Rangers, The Boss Baby and Beauty and the Beast, and it should be interesting to see how they perform against male-skewed behemoths, Kong: Skull Island and Logan. The former is actually in a good place to keep going all the way through the school holidays which would make it a hit as big as its title character.
