One of the odder films on the slate at the Sydney Film Festival this year is Tickled, New Zealand journalist David Farrier’s investigation into the world of competitive tickling. What reads at first as a light-hearted look at an unusual subculture soon turns dark, with threats of litigation and, well, just plain threats being leveled as Farrier and co-director Dylan Reeve dig into the secretive tickling scene. Farrier sat down with Vice New Zealand to talk about the whole thing.
