New online series Let’s Get Ducking Famous is the first of its kind where each episode sits over multiple posts and platforms. The series was executive produced by Chelsea Bonner – founder of diversity-led modelling-talent agency, Bella Management, and Rodrigo Vidal Dawson of Blackfisch creative agency.

The series was written by showrunner Nikki Brown.

The show centres around Naomi and Olivia who attempt to become social media famous along with Naomi’s duck.

Shot around Sydney over two weeks, the series features seven episodes, each five-minutes long. Author Maria Thattil plays Naomi, non-binary model Jonti Ridley is Olivia, model Toks James plays dad Robert, and Indiana Blue of Bali Nine fame plays Tyler. Jack Vidgen and Tony Bonner make cameos. Duck Steven was played by two ducks from Golden Ridge Animal Farm.

“We hope this paves the way for advertisers to tap into social media content consumption, to incorporate any product or service and write a series around it,” says Chelsea Bonner. “These shows have the potential to be consumed by a wider, more targeted audience.

“It creates sales and opportunities for talent and production. We can also create moments to include product placements. Brands share episodes on their channels or a series. We used a duck to show we can introduce any product into a series.”

Each episode drops 6pm nightly from Monday, February 6 until February 12, on TikTok www.tiktok.com/@lgdfseries – the entire series will be on Instagram and Facebook from February 20.
