The award winning REELise Film Festival, is inviting entries from young filmmakers around Australia (10-18yrs) of short pocket films. Designed specifically to support and showcase the talents of young people, the Festival screens content with an underlying social message tied to our annual competition theme. Entry in the Festival competition is FREE.
National finalists screen in VMAX at Event Cinemas in Sydney and are livestreamed for a national and international viewing audience.
Prizes include cash, filmmaking equipment and industry experiences.
All films must be shot on a smartphone or tablet, be 5 minutes or less including credits, be suitable for a general viewing audience; and explore the 2023 competition theme “footprint”.
