Supanova Comic Con & Gaming’s return to Adelaide (30 October – 1 November 2026) and Brisbane (6-8 November 2026) is fast approaching, promising Supa-Fans three action-packed days of ‘levelled up’ fandom fun. Hot on the heels of their first wave of celebrity guest announcements, Supanova has revealed the latest Supa-Stars to join the upcoming fellowship.
Making the journey alongside his previously announced co-star Sean Astin, The Lord of the Rings legend Elijah Wood will return to the convention for the first time since 2019, appearing on Sunday only in Adelaide, and across the weekend in Brisbane. Starring as Frodo Baggins in the multi-Academy Award winning trilogy, Wood has gone on to lead Wilfred and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, also featuring in Sin City, Yellowjackets, Happy Feet, plus so many more. Most recently, he has appeared in the hit horror sequel, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and the animated adaptation of Among Us.
There’s even more on offer from Middle-earth, with Jed Brophy and Bruce Hopkins making encore appearances after their Supa-Star debuts in Sydney. Known for his myriad of roles in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, plus Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Brophy is set to visit both cities, with Hopkins, also of Xena: Warrior Princess fame, making the trek exclusively to Brisbane.
Supanova is in good company with Stephen Hunter, best known as The Hobbit’s Bombur, reunited with co-star Graham McTavish a.k.a. Dwalin (Brisbane only). Fans will otherwise recognise McTavish for his acclaimed performances in Outlander and House of the Dragon, while Hunter has recently featured in The Messenger, Heartbreak High and Thor: Love and Thunder.
From Lord of the Rings to local legends, both cities can expect to see The Descendants’ Mitchell Hope; his Love You Like That co-star, John Jarratt (Wolf Creek, What About Sal?); Lincoln Lewis (Getaway, Home and Away); and Scooby-Doo’s Neil Fanning, as well as Furiosa’s Nathan Jones (Mortal Kombat, Troy) only in Brisbane.
With its hotly anticipated second season now airing on Disney+, Supanova’s upcoming tour is the perfect time to catch X-Men ’97 voice actor Lenore Zann. Now starring in the ongoing Emmy-nominated series, Zann reprises her role as Rogue, having originally portrayed the iconic mutant in the cult classic ‘90s animation.
Gamers won’t want to miss one of the industry’s most recognisable voices; the multi-award-winning David Bateson, heard for over 25 years as Agent 47 in IO Interactive’s AAA franchise, Hitman. The first-time Supa-Star will be shown the ropes by returning fan-favourite Faye Mata, whose own video game credits include League of Legends, Fire Emblem, and Street Fighter 6. Anime lovers may know her better, however, for her dubbing work in the likes of Konosuba! and Fate/Apocrypha, also featuring in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
With three full days of Supa-Powered fun coming to each city, and even more Supa-Star surprises still to come, fans can book their admission tickets now via Leap Events. For all the latest news, stay tuned to the Supanova website and @SupanovaExpo social media channels.
