In Mackay on Saturday 11th May catch the best of Australian short cinema including delightful QLD comedy The Bank Manager. On the same night, Flickerfest Adelaide filmmakers star at The Mercury with 7 stunning local short films, including the SA Premiere’s of Sick Day, Cordelia, Daughter Of The SeaSpite and Human Range.

Canberra’s next on Thursday 16th May, featuring the contemporary First Nations short doc To Be Silent by Canberra local producer Skye Leon; and  Beautiful Things with locals Benjamin Ling at cinematography and Emily Taylor at hair & makeup. In Parramatta, Sat 18th May don’t miss your chance to catch Flickerfest at Riverside Theatres, meet Western Sydney filmmakers and celebrate local Western Sydney, one-shot music horror Bad Vibrations.

Flickerfest also returns to Newcastle Civic Playhouse Theatre on Saturday 15th June.  Catch local highlights, the moving What’s In A Name winner of Best Direction at Flickerfest 2024 by Kalu Oji, plus Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge produced by Caleb McKenna, both who grew up locally.
