Indie Melbourne filmmaker Lee Galea’s newest film, The Neon Spectrum, is about a lonely English girl who, learning of a hidden letter from her estranged father, journeys to Australia in search of answers and the man who can give them to her. Stephanie Gonelli, Pat Mooney, and Joshua Orpin star. Galea’s last film, Monster Pies, won Best Film at the 2013 Melbourne Queer Film Festival so we’re expecting good tings from his latest, too.

The Neon Spectrum should hit the festival circuit around August.
