Say what you want about the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise (you can start with: why is it still going?) but it has always been able to attract some top notch talent to fill out its roster of villains: Geoffrey Rush, Billy Nighy, the great Ian McShane and so forth. Add to that now Javier Bardem, who’s playing Captain Salazar in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. And here he is:
Well, that’s certainly our guy. Not much more info to be gleaned from this, apart from his ship seems to have two steering wheels. That’s a bit odd.

It’s actually not unusual at all for a ship to have two wheels, in fact, many sailing ships in the past and present have a double wheel. It’s also helpful to have two wheels in severe weather and ocean conditions, so that two or more people can keep the ship steady.
