Things are kicking into high gear over in Westeros, with the final clash of the titans between product of incest Daenerys Targaryan (Emilia Clarke) and incest enthusiast Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) set to rock the Seven Kingdoms.
And isn’t it interesting that, after the repeated accusations of misogyny leveled at the show, in the broad strokes it’s come down to a story about women, including, lest we forget, Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams) seizing power in a patriarchal world? If you don’t want to dig that deep, there are dragons. And the Dothraki cavalry being amazing. And Kit Harrington’s Jon Snow dealing with the White Walkers in the North – easy to forget that’s happening up there. All fine things.
