Having wowed ’em in London and at over 30 individual shows across the US, Walker Stalker, a massive The Walking Dawn fan event and meet ‘n’ greet, is heading to Australia in early 2018. Frontier Touring is bringing an impressive number of TWD celebs to The Dome at Sydney Showgrounds from February 3 -4, and The Pavillion at Melbourne Showgrounds from February 10 – 11, including Norman Reedus (“Daryl”), Michael Cudlitz (“Abraham”), Alanna Masterson (“Tara”), Ross Marquand (“Aaron”), Katelyn Nacon (“Enid”).
Obviously the focus here is on autograph and photo opportunities, but there’s a pretty full timetable scheduled for each weekend event, including Q&A panels, cosplay, graphic and tattoo artist,s vendors and stalls, a LARP “Escape the Biters” activation which puts punters in the road-worn boots of the show’s characters, and more.
If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, this seems like a no-brainer, and if you’re a fan with a lot of discretionary income, there are some pricey but pretty all-encompassing VIP packages on offer.
