“On the surface, yes, Fairy Floss is another series about the trials and tribulations of 20 something share-housers, but I hope you might see beyond the superficial similarities it shares with a lot of other series,” says Quinlan in his director’s statement. “My main focus with Fairy Floss was character, and I reveled in the opportunity to create what are essentially nine short films about nine unique and varied individuals that may strike a chord with audiences of any age.”
