“The film is a mother’s journey and also, in a way, it’s an allegory on child custody. What she does, which is very radical in a way, is that she eradicates the father of the picture completely by basically recreating that child by herself,” Delpy told us when the film premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
It’s finally finding general release, in the UK, at least, with no Australian release date confirmed.
