It’s been 15 years since How Do You Know (who’s seen that?!), James L. Brooks’ last writing/directing gig, with the beloved filmmaker returning with this story of an “idealistic young woman juggles her family and work life in a comedy about the people you love and how to survive them.”
With French/British actress Emma Mackey (Barbie, Emily, Death on the Nile) in the title role, the film also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner (who of course voices Marge Simpson, with James L. Brooks producing the show), Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks (son of), Albert Brooks (no relation, though, nice hairpiece) and Woody Harrelson.
