“Six Australian millennial artists who use Instagram to create self-portraits, revealing how our understanding of art has changed in the digital age.” – that’s The Glass Bedroom, a new series streaming on ABC Iview until February 16. Each five minute episode looks at a different young artist and the way in which they use Instagram and self-portraiture to reflect and explore their world.
Commissioned for Art Bites, a joint ABC/Screen Australia initiative, the series is written and directed by Kate Blackmore, and features a soundtrack by Rainbow Chan. Check it out here.
