The stars of Dance Academy, the hit TV series turned feature film, will be on hand for the movie’s Sydney premiere this Sunday, March 26.
Xenia Goodwin, Dena Kaplan (Honey 3, Flight of the Concords), Tara Morice (Strictly Ballroom), Nic Westaway (Home & Away), Alicia Banit (Summer Heights High) and Thomas Lacey (Winners & Losers) will be on the red carpet at Event Cinemas George Street from 2pm, along with director Jeffrey Walker (Modern Family, Angry Boys).
Continuing on from the end of the third season of the series, Dance Academy‘s big screen follow-up sees Tara (Xenia Goodwin) struggling to overcome the devastating injury that crippled her career. With all the familiar favourites from the original series and some new faces, Dance Academy is a heartwarming story of ordinary people fighting to achieve their extraordinary dreams.
