The St Kilda Film Festival has announced the award nominees for its 2018 season. Each of the nominees is in the running for a share of over $50,000 worth of cash and prizes spread across 17 categories. Plus, St Kilda is an Academy-accredited festival, so the winners of Best Short Film and Best Documentary are eligible for Oscar consideration.
“The City of Port Phillip is always proud to be able to showcase the innovative and inspiring films created and starred in by some of Australia’s best talent. The St Kilda Film Festival has an incredible variety of films shown in this year’s program. We look forward to revealing the winners of the 35th St Kilda Film Festival awards later this week at the Closing Night event,” said City of Port Phillip Mayor Bernadene Voss.
