WISPY is, for the most part, your average vlogger. Only, not-so-averagely, she turns tissue boxes into pineapples, dodges fireballs raining from the sky, and has a brother who’s a frog. Wispy is a witch. And not a great one. Wispy’s goal is to be the best witch ever, but when distractingly gorgeous fellow witch Joseph appears in her life (literally appears. Magically. In her bedroom), this goal becomes harder to achieve. Wispy’s alarmed to realise that perhaps the very person who is trying to help her is keeping her from her ambitions. Can Wispy balance becoming the best witch ever with falling in love, or will she have to choose between the two?

Created by, written by and starring Emily Kruse, and directed by Molly Daniels, this 22 x 2 minute fantasy romantic comedy series takes the classic “choosing between love and a career” trope and all its ’90s-style kitschiness, and catapults it into a hilariously inventive new world full of enchanted phones and celebrity witches.

Shot in a vertical format and packaged into bite-sized episode, it’s a deliciously contemporary and accessible way to get your daily dose of will they won’t they. Starts April 24.
