GIFF is a unique platform for creative people interested in the world of cinema.
The works of the participants will be evaluated by specialists from different countries and with different specializations: from actors and composers to screenwriters and specialists in CG and AR / VR. This season, the jury expanded significantly and included, among other things, the winners of the previous festival.
The number of participants is growing along with the festival – if last time exactly 200 works were received, now more than 300 applications have come by Christmas. The system of nominations has become even more perfect and has covered almost all significant areas of filmmaking.
Timur Ramazanov, co-founder of the film festival: “With this festival, we want to support independent authors from all over the world and let them know that their opinion is important, and their talent will definitely find its audience. We try to be as friendly as possible, always give feedback to the participants and keep up to date with the news. We give the opportunity to showcase their work around the world”.
In addition to the festival trophies, the winners will receive specialized tools or discounts to prepare and create their future projects – script writing, storyboarding and professional script proofreading softwares.This season’s partners have already become: Story Architect, ScreenReaders, Shot Lister and Doctor’s Advice.
We are also negotiating with several streaming platforms to create a special project in which the best of the works sent to us will be shown to a wide online audience.
