The selection process for the Global Finals involved industry experts from across the globe, including renowned actors, film directors, and Emmy-winning Casting Directors. Kya made an incredible impression and was awarded both judges choice, and viewers’ choice, throughout the competition.
Founder Pete Malicki was overwhelmed at not only the level of entries this year, but also the level of talent. “What truly excites me about the Games is witnessing remarkable talent showing up and delivering stellar performances time and time again,” he said.
The Games have seen over 10 thousand performers from over 100 countries across the globe register. Kya Stewart is now one of just six actors to have been awarded this high level of achievement.
Kya said, “My piece was about my Nan and the unforgettable impression she left on my life. She is the reason I’m a storyteller and a big part of why I do what I do, so it really was about honouring her and doing her proud. I can happily say I have done that now.”
Kya truly has made her mark on the global stage, impressing judges with her remarkable talent, enthusiasm and work ethic. She has a number of projects coming up in 2024 and we can’t wait to see more of her work and just how far she goes. She has a very bright future ahead of her and the world is about to see much, much more of her.
