Spartacus, Power Rangers alumni, Adult Swim voice artist and Reality TV star Kelvin Taylor, Benda John, International Australian Mauritian actress Sophie Adolphe, son and daughter of Jean Claude Van Damme with Kris and Bianca Van Damme will lead Passport Bros, a hybrid Australian-Action, Buddy, Romantic Comedy set to be the Fast and Furious of rom-coms!
Passport Bros is about two African Americans coming to Australia by escaping the modern dating culture war in America. A movie best described as the opposite of Eddie Murphy’s Coming To America with the comedic chemistry of The Waynes brothers in White Chicks and Scary Movie franchise fame.
The film is star studded with characters honouring Sydney’s organic diversity and diverse cultures with iconic Australian comedians with associate producer Rob Shehadie, Rodney Todd, Emo Majok, Carly Electric, First Nations comedian Andy Saunders, Reality TV stars Lacey Butlin of Love Island S7, MAFS alumni Carina Mirabile, and TikTok comedic influencers Elliot Loney, Liam Dowling and Sarah Micheals, and RackaRacka’s Helene Philippou to name a few.

The phrase “Passport Bros” is a pop-culture lifestyle trend taking America & the UK by storm all over TikTok and YouTube, and Taylor struck gold with this rare, niche and hip pop-culture movement. Most regional movements, accents, dances and lifestyles are instantly global due to social media and it’s time Gen-Z gets it’s “10 Things I Hate About You”!

Where do men belong in a world where the All American Pie girl next door does not need them, yet men have no desire to live independent of women. Passport Bros centres on Taylor’s Kelz, a podcaster caught between his clients and best friend (John) after moving to Sydney, Australia to escape his ex-girlfriend (Bianca Van Damme). Worlds collide when he meets a Greek-Mauritian beauty (Adolphe) at a nightclub. Both having their own large following and dependent on their phones, they are forced to face their fears of commitment while evading an “Influencer” (Kris Van Damme), who is out for vengeance after his operation is interrupted.
In addition to writing, Taylor, who produces the film under his banner Kiirokuro Productions, recently teamed with Monochromatic Pictures for his New Zealand-based biopic war-horror-drama Camp 10-A, Starring Lawrence Makoare (Lord of The Rings, The Deadlands), Evander Brown (Spartacus: House of Ashur), Ria Paki (Muru, The Deadlands) with multi-award winning Australian cinematographer Ross Metcalf at the helm of both. Additional casting taking place with Mathew Waters and Intimacy coordination by Michela Carattini’s Key Intimacy Scenes.
The film is set for production throughout inner Sydney suburbs, capturing the authenticity of the New South Wales City and tourism destinations bolstering Australia’s international profile and travellers passport wishes alike.
