After a successful inaugural year, Central Coast Film Festival returns.
Festival director Shane Emmett said “Central Coast Film Festival 2024 was a revelation to the coastal community. The cinemas were packed every night and the foyers abuzz with international networking and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it back in 2025”.
Festival entries open 1st February for all categories.
Selected features, shorts, experimental films, music videos, animations, and documentaries will be screened at Ettalong’s Cinema Paradiso, a one-of-a-kind Mediterranean-themed complex in Australia.
This distinctive festival setting fosters culture, collaboration and escapism, making it the ideal destination for filmmakers from across Australia and around the world to connect and celebrate the art of cinema.
The festival accepts films of every genre and seeks to highlight passionate creative voices and stories that express individuality in all its forms. It is a film festival run by filmmakers for filmmakers.
In the lead up to the event there will be a host of creativity sparking events.
The first being a scriptwriting workshop this March.
“CCFF is the international festival the region needs, bringing some of the finest films and storytellers in the world into the local community” said Shane. The festival will take place November 1 – 9, 2025, and is a 9-day celebration of independent filmmakers and storytelling from around the world!
