Forte Corp Pictures announces a company expansion with the hire of production executive Brendan Campbell as Head of Production. In this new role, Campbell will support the company’s current development slate as well as build its international arm and expand its work further into physical production services in Australia.
Campbell is a seasoned production executive with over three decades of experience in Australia’s film and television industry delivering premium scripted projects for global audiences. Prior to his role at Forte Corp, Campbell served as an executive for Matchbox Pictures, where he was responsible for providing production services for projects including NBCUniversal’s Young Rock starring Dwayne Johnson, Joe vs. Carole, Apples Never Fall, La Brea, and most recently the critically-acclaimed drama All Her Fault starring Sarah Snook, Jake Lacy, Dakota Fanning, and Michael Peña.

Campbell began his career in the entertainment industry on-set as part of directorial teams across Australia in the roles of 1st AD and line producer for over twenty years. During this time, he was involved in the making of some of Australia’s most successful television dramas including The Flying Doctors, Underbelly, Nowhere Boys, Barracuda, Glitch, Stateless, and Clickbait—as well as feature films such as Ghost Rider, Ned Kelly, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and Cut Snake.
Established in 2008, Forte Corp Pictures has consistently delivered outstanding feature films both locally and on the global stage, balancing production expertise with groundbreaking finance methods that result in a portfolio of highly profitable films and intellectual property. Most recently, the company completed production on Kornél Mundruczó’s Place to Be starring Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi, which will premiere out of competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival this September.
