The shortlist for VICE and AIDC’s Pitch Australiana competition has been announced, with four filmmaking teams for $50K in funding to produce a short factual film that will be screened on SBS Viceland under their Australiana banner, and hosted on the global VICE digital network.
The four will compete in a public pitching session at AIDC in Melbourne on Tuesday, March 6, before a panel that includes Australian documentary filmmaker Kitty Green (Ukraine is Not A Brothel, Casting JonBenet); producer Robert Fernandenz (Wormwood, Fog of War); and representatives from VICE and Screen Australia.
