Here’s a brief behind the scenes look at Tim Burton’s upcoming dark fantasy, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, taken from the book of the same name by Ransom Riggs.
It’s the usual stuff, all about Tim Burton’s vision, and at one point Eva Green says that it’s “…refreshing for a movie to say ’embrace your uniqueness'” as though that weren’t the message underlying every modern movie about this kind of thing. Still, it’d be nice to get one more good film out of Burton – you can argue about which of his later works have been worth a watch, but let’s admit that it’s all been a bit patchy since Planet of the Apes, and that was 15 years ago.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is out on September 29, 2017.
