Hotel Mumbai, Australian director Anthony Maras’ account of the 2008 terrorist attacks at Mumbai’s Taj Mahal Hotel, will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before taking the opening night slot at the Adelaide Film Festival.
The ADL Film Fest Fund today confirmed that the based-in-fact drama will make its Australian debut at the 2018 ADL Film Fest Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, October 10.
The Toronto International Film Festival earlier today announced the Hotel Mumbai World Premiere in September, the same event that launched the international hit Lion in 2016.
Starring Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Bonaidi, Anupam Kher and Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Hotel Mumbai will screen at GU Filmhouse, with the ADL Film Fest Opening Night party at the Queen’s Theatre taking place immediately after. Tickets are on sale now.
