Action figure manufacturer NECA have picked up the license to the upcoming Blade Runner 2049, announcing that they intend to make “…a full range of figures, die cast vehicles, replicas, games and more in 2017.” No more details have been made public, but more info – and possibly some prototypes – are expected to be unveiled at the New York International Toy Fair in February.

NECA have made a good fist of movie licenses for some time now, making figures based on such cult and retro properties as Aliens, Evil Dead, Predator, Rambo, Robocop, and more. Of course, the big question is whether their licnese includes the original Blade Runner – we want our Bike Shorts Rutger Hauer and Raccoon Face Daryl Hannah figures.
