The 100 actress will star and executive produce.

“I am so humbled to have the opportunity to produce a film that not only elevates the female voice but showcases Australian actors and film makers,” said Taylor in a press release. Best known for her role in The 100, Eliza Taylor also appeared in The Sleepover Club and Neighbours, along with Australian film Patrick and US productions The November Man and Thumper.

Set in London, but shot in Perth, It Only Takes A Night is about four friends on a girl’s night out that will change their lives forever.

Written and Directed by Callan Durlik, who wrote and co-starred in 2019’s hit and miss romcom The Naked Wanderer (which also incorporated a London shoot, involving John Cleese), It Only Takes a Night will also star George Pullar (Moon Rock for Monday), Sana’a Shaik (2067), Arielle Carver-O’Neill (Ash vs Evil Dead, Ash Vs Evil Dead), Charles Grounds (Crazy Rich Asians) and Jaime Ureta (Harrow), with Ana Ika making her feature debut.

The film is being produced by Callan Durlik and Josh Horneman of Rookies Ambush, Megan Wynn of Wynn Media (The Invisible Man; The Mountain Between Us) and Kara Pisconeri of Star Shadow Media.
