They’ve had a cracking season, but the mighty Sydney Swans could be in trouble, with Melbourne-born Hollywood superstar, Chris Hemsworth, throwing his support behind their Grand Final opponents, The Western Bulldogs. Flexing bulging biceps bigger than his head, the noted top bloke posted the visual pump-up of all pump-ups on his keenly followed Instagram page.
Sporting a skin-tight Bulldogs jersey, Hemsworth – currently shooting Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok on The Gold Coast – captioned the striking image with the simple, “Eye Of The Tiger”-level fire-up, “Bulldogs yesssssss!!!!!!!!! #westernbulldogs @westernbulldogs #grandfinal #letsdothis.”
With Asgard’s favourite son metaphorically dropping the hammer on their chances, we suggest that The Sydney Swans get in touch with The Hulk for a little muscular support. And sadly for fans of this weekend’s NRL’s grand finalists, The Cronulla Sharks, it’s a safe bet that Chris Hemsworth – a native Victorian and The God Of Thunder, no less – will be throwing his considerable heft behind their feared opponents, The Melbourne Storm, on Sunday.
