In the first trailer we got a glimpse of Ruby, plus the lesbian reference, but she was basically a bit player. Now comes a trailer devoted entirely to her character – an adrenaline junkie who joins Vin Diesel’s government operative to stop a deadly threat – giving us backstory and more dialogue. The ex model/VJ looks like comfortable and she’s really paving a path towards action hero (she’s also features in the upcoming final Resident Evil installment), which sounds great to us!
