Box Office Report: December 29, 2022 – January 2, 2023
Top of the world!! In just 3 weeks, the Avatar sequel has made almost half of the original's overall gross, whilst Disney's stranglehold extends with the impressive screen average for 'limited release' The Banshees of Inisherin. In other news, Sony's three releases have performed admirably, whilst it's 2022 business as usual for The Lost King and Blueback (after only 2 days of release), even though it's the busiest time of the year at the moofies. Meanwhile, west side, the numbers for Decision to Leave prove just how valuable a Perth Festival release is for arthouse cinema in this country.
