There’s no budging Spidey and The Odyssey, with the latter benefitting from increased IMAX sessions. Meanwhile, the latest Insidious opened in third, well above Mutiny and Spa Weekend, which both had more screens. Other week 1 releases included a strong result for Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Soccer, a middling one for A24’s Tony, and a disappointing showing for Kristen Stewart’s The Chronology of Water with $5k on 6 screens.
