Logie-Award winning actor Aaron Jeffery (Wentworth, McLeod’s Daughters), has been cast in the upcoming Australian sci-fi actioner, Occupation, along with Kat Risteska (Home and Away, Dance Academy), Ben Chisholm (Red Billabong, The Legend of Ben Hall) and Erin Connor (The Suicide Theory).
Currently shooting in Northern New South Wales and the Gold Coast, Occupation follows a group of small town residents who must band together to survive after a “hostile ground invasion”. Temuera Morrison (Moana, Star Wars: Episode II and III) and Dan Ewing (Home and Away, Red Billabong) head a cast that includes Stephany Jacobsen (Battlestar Galactica), Rhiannon Fish (The 100), Charles Terrier (Neighbours), Bruce Spence (Mad Max 2), Felix Williamson (The Great Gatsby, Underbelly), Charles Mesure (Desperate Housewives, Once Upon a Time), Zachary Garred (General Hospital), Izzy Stevens (Puberty Blues, Underbelly), Trystan Go (The Family Law) and AFI award-winner Jacqueline McKenzie (The 4400), with Red Billabong‘s Luke Sparke directing.
The cast also features the wonderful Roy Billing as the Mayor
