Project Hail Mary only dropped 10% from its opening weekend numbers, which bodes well for the long tail on this crowd pleaser. Meanwhile, I Swear opened softly, albeit after two sneak weekends and making bank during the British Film Festival. But not as soft as Warner Bros’ They Will Kill You, which emulated the disappointment of the North American release. And with GOAT, Hoppers and The Magic Faraway Tree already in release and doing very healthy business, it will be interesting how things land for the school holidays with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie coming out on April 1 – no joke.
