Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits digital on June 29 and physical home media on July 20, and when it does it’ll be available as an Ultimate Edition, packed with a full extra half an hour of Zack Snyder’s striking but divisive take on DC’s three premiere superheroes (leave us not forget that Wonder Woman is all up in this too).
The Ultimate Edition will not be getting a general cinematic release, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a chance to see it up on the big screen, and for free to boot. Roadshow Entertainment will be hosting two Superfan Screenings, one at Sydney’s Event Cinemas George St on June 28, and one at Melbourne’s Village Cinemas Jam Factory on June 29. Ticket allocation is by lottery, which means you need to shoot over to the Village Roadshow website and register your interest. It’s drawn at midnight on June 23, and winner will be notified on June 24. The Ultimate Edition is Rated M for intense sequences of violence, mature themes and coarse language and has a running time of 182 mins. Quality of film is not guaranteed.
