The polls are now open for the DeciderTV Awards (aka The Molkies, after DeciderTV co-editor, Steve Molk). The awards are designed to act as an altrnative to dertain other public-voted TV Awards, and specifically to “…recognise the entire Australian TV industry, not just a few teen soaps.”
Last year’s winners included Wil Anderson (Most Outstanding Light Entertainment Presenter (Male)), Waleed Aly and Leigh Sales (Most Outstanding TV Presenter (News/Current Affairs)) and Marta Dusseldorp and Craig McLachlan (Outstanding Actor). This year’s nominees include Sam Pang, Matt Preston, Shaynna Blaze, Yvonne Sampson, Waleed Aly, Paul Murray, Carrie Bickmore, Lisa Wilkinson, Charlie Pickering, Luke McGregor, Matthew Le Nevez, Jessica Marais, Samuel Johnson, Noni Hazelhurst, Marta Dusseldorp, and many more.
Punters can vote as many times as they wish, which might skew the polls more than a tad, and winners will be announced on Monday, January 23, on DeciderTV. Now go forth and vote.
