8 part series adaptation of J.P. Pomare's novel In the Clearing, inspired by cults such as The Family. Miranda Otto, Guy Pearce, Hazem Shammas, Mark Coles-Smith, Kate Mulvany, Julia Savage and Teresa Palmer star, directed by Jeffrey Walker and Gracie Otto, with showrunners Elise McCredie and Matt Cameron. With Aussie noir all the rage, this should be a winner for Disney+, though you do have to ask, how's this different from what the ABC and SBS are bringing us for free.
