Miles Franklin’s classic text is adapted by Liz Doran (um, Barons), with Philippa Northeast in the role made famous by Judy Davis in the 1979 film of the same name. Christopher Chung (Slow Horses) plays Harry, played by the recently departed Sam Neill in the film. Anna Chancellor, Genevieve O’Reilly, Kate Mulvany, Jake Dunn, Alexander England, Sherry-Lee Watson and Miah Madden also star, with Alyssa McClelland and Anne Renton sharing directing duties on the 6-episode series produced by Jungle Entertainment and shot in South Australia.
