The short stories of Stephen King have yielded rich cinematic rewards, with the towering likes of The Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me stemming from the brief-form works of The Master Of Horror. With Mike Flanagan (who made a very solid fist of King’s Doctor Sleep) in the director’s chair and a cast including Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, David Dastmalchian, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mark Hamill and, um, Matthew Lillard, The Life Of Chuck could quite possibly be another winner…
