The next Disney animated classic to make the jump to live action blockbuster is, of course, Beauty & the Beast, the much-loved movie that kickstarted the Disney Animation Renaissance back in ’91. What we have here is essentially a quick tone poem to get us primed for the upcoming remake. It’s full of sumptuous visuals set to the gorgeous earworm title song, and wraps up with a quick shot of Emma Watson as Belle. Keen ears will note a couple of celebrity voices in the mix, including Sir Ian McKellan.
Directed by Bill Condon, Beauty & the Beast hits Australian screens in March 2017
