Trailer: A Savage Christmas
Madeleine Dyer makes her feature directorial debut with this Christmas Day comedy starring newcomer Thea Raveneau as a trans woman who returns to her family's lavish home after a three-year absence with trans boyfriend Kane (played by co-writer Max Jahufer), hijinks ensue. This relative inexperienced triumvirate is surrounded by Australian acting royalty in Helen Thomson, David Roberts, Darren Gilshenan, Gary Sweet and Rachel Griffiths, who Dyer (sister of Harriet Dyer) was mentored by during the making of Ride Like a Girl. Looks fun. Looks very Queensland in the best possible ways.
